Want to have users send e-mails to their friends telling them about one of your web pages? With WDP's Tell-A-Friend scripts you can easily add a referrer capability to your site.

Users can e-mail one or many of their friends a message that contains a link back to a web page that was selected. The user can also add a message to the e-mail.

How it works:
On any page within your web site you can add a link to a particular web page to keeps track of the web page that the user just came from. On this web page there is a form that asks the user to fill out their name, e-mail address, comment for their friend, and their friend's e-mail address. The scripts then send an e-mail to their friend's E-mail address with the user's name, e-mail, comments, and most importantly a link to the page that the user came from.

The scripts are very customizable to allow you to easily have your web site's design or look used for both the form that is filled out and the response pages from the system. You can also keep logs of the e-mail address, and a counter of the times that the Tell-A-Friend scripts have been used. You can also set the script to send a confirmation e-mail to the user that referred their friend to your site.

WDP is offering these scripts for free to anyone for their personal use, but requires a $20.00 fee for anyone using it on each commercial web site. We are not trying to get rich here, but would like something back for all the time and effort spent developing this capability Of course even a webmaster using the Tell-A-Friend scripts on their personal non-commercial site is also encouraged to support us in our efforts.
